'Hide and seek'...
the man says in an evil snicker.
The women...
leaped into a very fast sprint.
Her heart is pounding...
as adrenaline pumped through her veins.
She ran...
farther into the moonlit forest.
Trees scratched her...
but she kept pushing on farther.
It got darker...
as the trail started to get rougher.
Tears fall...
when she realizes she is lost.
Fear sets in...
as she tries to hide.
She is prey...
as she heard a branch snap.
Tucked away...
she prayed he wouldn't find her.
She shivered...
a shock went down her spine.
'I found you'...
he said as he took his prize.

For a Beloved Friend, A Blessing and Funeral Poem.
When the road you walk is dark and shadows fill your dreaming head may there always be a glow upon your path ahead.
And may you always hear, even in your hour of sorrow, the placid singing of the spirited lark.
When times call for hard work and perseverance never may your heart nor soul turn to stone.
And may you always remember:
When the shadows fall and bog your path you do not walk alone.
May love and laughter always lighten your days, warm your heart and your sense of home.
May good and truthful friends be yours wherever it is you roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world with a joy that long perseveres.
May all life's passing seasons

Feel it
I have given every sacrifice bled, lost freedom, became a monster just to protect you
Used every skill in human condition which we both know I qualify as an expert. Staying in captivity top three fears of life ( number 1. Become a sandwich number 2. Spiders and number 3. Held captive for any reason if escape was possible!
I laid in a drug haze in the prettiest cage with the key in my hand
My mentor saying hold on the cages break all of them even if you lose the key.
One reason for all this
To prove my love for you is existential everlasting not able to lose not even if you accidentally smothered me to death!
So fuck you I won't die just

Understanding
I always said
that you had to show-
not tell me.
Because sometimes,
I don't understand.
Like when you met her,
You told me you fell in love.
I had to ask why
because sometimes
I don't understand.
But then you showed me:
i. How her smile makes knees tremble
ii. How her humour makes you laugh
iii. How her eyes pull you in
Then, I understood.
Now I'm one step closer
to being able to write
about somebody you love
with justice.
Making the words into a being.
Rather than a snippet of a Sunday morning
drabbling with no purpose, story or life
other than being something
which you sell on to make
money before the ink is even
dry.

So if you all didn't know I am going to be soon (in less than a year ) a psychology major. I love free verse poetry as you are probably going to see a lot more from me but to get to the point this poem was inspired my love for psychology. Over the years I have read so many crime novels and crime books I really enjoyed the psychology about it. So to summarize the poem if someone got confused
A woman who was walking home from work alone got kidnapped by a man who knocked her out by hitting her over the head. While she is asleep the man takes her to his home which is the woods to play hide and seek. If you read the poem you will find the out come.
Though this is a little dark I wanted to really add the psychological aspect to this poem because it is my major and I do want to be a research psychologist who specializes in rare mental disorders...one day
So enjoy and comment if you want to give feedback (I would love feedback good or bad as it helps my writing )
