Two years ago the demon world unleashed their greatest weapon against humanity, the one who stopped the demon Nico who destroyed most of the major cities in the world was the demon king and his son . On the mass medias they came out and told the world they never had intentions of releasing that weapon what ended up happening was an adviser to the king was a power hungry demon who wanted nothing else but to see the destruction between our two worlds. They created a treaty between the human race and the demon race; it was said that we all could coexist in each others world under the condition that the Nico Demon would forever be sealed away in a location that only the world leaders  and the demon king know.
Two years ago I din't remember anything, the doctor who found me at the extraction point where Nico did the most damage with no memories, no speech, and no emotion. To this day the only thing I can recall is in my dreams; it is a scene of this beautiful demon. His hair was a silky midnight black to the point that it had a blue tint in it, his eyes were a beautiful golden color that looked like I was starring into the sun. He looked human just like most demons the only thing that was demon like on him was his pointy ears, and it looked like his K9 teeth we a little bit longer. He had a bunch of tattoos looking tattoos all over his perfect chiseled body.
“Kenya get out of here, I don't want to see anything bad happen to you,” he said in his smooth exotic voice. My heart skipped a beat when he moved my long black hair behind my ear but the demon Nico was destroying the city and in my heart I had to stop it.
“Don't worry Ty no matter what happens we will be together,” I told him as I grabbed his hand to reassure him. He pulled me towards him and wrapped his arms around me. Somehow I just perfectly fit right into his arm even though he was at least a foot taller than me, but I am only fifth foot so men are normally a lot taller than me. He pulled my chin up to his face and gave me a soft kiss on the lips. My face turned bright red as he pulled away he was starring straight at the demon.
“I will stop him, what kind of demon prince would I be if I can't even protect the girl I love,” he said as his tribal tattoo's lit up as flames emerged from his hands. In his right arm the flames produced a long sword and he charged towards the demon.
My room was bright was I awoken once again at the butt crack of dawn from this dream that I have had every single night for the last two years. I always seem to wake up crying and shaking which always bothered me because I didn't even know anything about Ty except that he is the demon king's son which was going to make it impossible for me to ever see him. Plus he was going to be engaged soon to Princess Vanessa which for some reason made me even more sad on the inside. I slapped my face to make me snap back into reality and I got dressed to go on my mourning run on the beach.
I lived in what use to be San Francisco but since after Nico nearly destroyed the whole city, it got rebuilt into the new capital in the United States. Everyone just calls it The Bay since that was the nickname for the whole entire region. I live in the city itself but I loved to run next to the ocean for some reason it seems to calm my thoughts. As I left my house I saw a commotion down the street so I ran towards the crowd. It seemed to be a fight between a demon and a human so I ran quicker to stop it. For some reason I know hand to hand combat very well and that made it easier to be on my own since I couldn't really talk to anyone. Instead I had to always carry my phone to type what I wanted to say. I have always tried to talk the doctor who found and from time to time comes to check in on me told me it could be from trauma. Though she thinks I need a trigger to talk again but I try every day to speak but I get the same results.  I slam my body into the human who was obviously bigger than the small demon boy. I glared at him as he was about to swing at me.
“Oh look it's the demon lover who is a mute. Stay out of this these things killed our parents,” he said as he tried to pull me off of the kid. I leaned just enough to kick his legs out from under him and the flipped him off. I may be a mute but everyone in the neighborhood knew I don't tolerate bullying between the races. They also knew I could take on any fighter in this place and not even break a sweat doing it.
“Let's go guys, this mute again ruined our fun,” he said as the group left us alone and the little demon boy hugged me tight.
“Thank you Kenya,” he said.
“Your welcome,” I typed on my phone so he could see it.
“Come over to my house my mom wants to thank you,” the boy said as he pulled me into his house. I knew this boy and his mother they moved here after the treaty at first everyone hated the demons but soon society started to accept them more. I walked threw the door and the mother came over with a sad look in her eyes. She held him tightly,
“Thank you once again Kenya for your kind heart.” I waved my hand to her to let her know it wasn't a problem for some reason I saw no difference in demons and humans.
“Do you want to go with us to see the king and the prince it is the first time they are going to meet the princess,” the boy asked me in a very excited voice.
“He's coming here?” I wrote to him.
“Yes dear, if you want to see him I would do it now. You know I am rooting for you but just remember to not doing anything too rash,” she said in her very motherly voice. She knew my dreams because I told them to her even though I know she isn't telling me everything she knows, she is very hopeful for me. Before I could answer the boy again she pulled me aside to have me change into an outfit.
“Here dear were this outfit, it was the same one we found you in but I repaired it,” she gave me the outfit I wore in my dreams which made me tear up. I quickly changed into my long black skinny jeans with my boots that came up almost to my knees. My top was a very low v neck tee shirt with a vest over it as I came out dressed she braided my long hair into the elaborate braid I had it in and fixed my make up.
“Here is your necklace my dear I fixed the clasp. Now go have fun in the parade,” she winked at  me. I put on the necklace which was a black lace choker necklace that had a crescent moon pendent. As I admired myself in the mirror the demon boy came in and pulled me back outside to the streets where he made me run with him all the way into the down town region.
“Come on Kenya the parade is this way,” he yelled at me as I tried to keep up with him. I finally could see the crowd as the parade was making it's way around the corner. I saw all the guards as I pushed my way to the front. That's when I saw him and for the first time I heard my voice as I screamed,
“TY!”
I realized my mistake as the whole entire parade, crowd, the king, and Ty where starring at me. I said his name with no formality the one thing she warned me about was to never address the royal family by there nicknames. But Ty couldn't stop starring at me as if I was a ghost same with the king. But then I saw the guards coming straight towards me with the intent of arresting which I would never let it happen. Before I could react to run I was surrounded which didn't intimidate me.
“Human you dare speak the prince's name!” They shouted at me. But the demon boy was trying to justify my actions.
“She normally can't speak it was a slip we are sorry, she really didn't mean anything by it,” he tried to say but then that guard picked him up by the neck and started to choke him which made my blood boil.
“So what she looks like she can talk to me,” he snarled at me but then I reacted. I punched that guard so hard in the nose he flew into his partner who starred me. I stood in my fighting stance as they all charged me at once; the first guard tried to stab me but I dodged it with ease as I wedged the sword from his hand with my elbow, and blocked the next oncoming sword with it.
“You! How are you so strong,” he said as he left an opening so I stepped in and I used the hilt of my sword to knock the wind out of him when he missed again. As the other guards started to back up I kicked the feet out from under him to escape with the demon boy in the crowd of people. I ran with the boy in my arms as fast as I could towards the boy's home to make sure he got home safely. For what seemed like days I finally made it home without someone noticing us from the parade. I snuck around the back of her house to drop off the boy who kept quiet luckily about the whole situation to his mother. As I was leaving her house I quickly ran back home hoping over fences and jumping from tree to tree until finally I made it home. As I climbed through my top right attic window that always had the key for it hidden under the single that had a little corner piece missing. I relocked it when I got in my attic to make sure no one would intrude. I left my attic and headed for my bathroom for a long needed hot shower. But as I started to strip down to my underwear felt someone else's presence in my house and before I could even react someone grabbed me from behind. He held my hands behind my head, but I dropped to the ground to get out of that hold and kicked his feet so he also fell to the ground. As I got on top of him to pin him to the ground but then I realized who my intruder was,
“You always use to beat me in wrestling when we were kids.” Ty said laughing as I blushed bright red. I quickly jumped off of him and starred at him with amazement. He was starring at me trying to analyze my movements.
“You really can't talk but you called my name,” he said with a smile as he scooted closer to me. But I backed away again not only because I was only in my undergarments but I couldn't respond to him. I needed to get at least a piece of paper and pencil to write to him. So I tried really hard to speak something, anything to him.
“Tttt...yyyy........pppeeeennn....,” I tried to say but it came out more as gibberish. So I showed a hand single as if I was writing in the air.
“I will go grab something for you to write with,” he said softly as he left me alone in my bathroom. As he left I escaped to my bedroom to throw on some yoga pants and a tank top as I managed to just put on my top Ty came into my room. He showed me my white board with my marker to make it easier to talk to him.
“Come on, even in here I would have a hard time controlling myself around you,” he said looking away from me as his face looked like it was bright red like me. I wish I could laugh but I just smiled instead as I followed him to my living room couch were I plopped right next to him. As I looked up I quickly wrote down what I really wanted to know.
“Why are you here?” I wrote down.
“Because you said my name in the parade and I wanted to know what kind of women you were,” he teased me. He knew me and my dreamed proved  it.
“You knew me before the attack,” I wrote.
“Yes, Kenya what do you mean?” he asked as he looked into my eyes.
“I don't remember anything except the last few years. My first memory was seeing Dr. Myrne who helped me adapt not speaking. The only memory I have is of you,” I wrote but I couldn't look him in the eye as I saw him read the last line.
“So you don't remember anything post the sealing of Nico, which doesn't surprise me we all thought you were dead my moon lady,” he said to me his words really did make my heart melt. That nickname though did ring a bell that's when my head got a really sharp pain as I wailed my whole world went black.
This is my story I decided to write though I have actually written pretty far into Kenya's and Ty's story I wanted to see how people responded to my first chapter :) The story is about a young female demon who can't not remember anything about her past except this male demon who happens to be the demon king's son.

This has my full attention now. I must admit it has been a while since I've read fan fics, but this is sooo good! I think I'll start binge reading tomorrow to see what happens next. xD

My only problem is that there isn't spacing between the lines so it kind of ran together a couple times while I was reading, but other than that I loved it.
